The Gaerne Chrono G is no doubt the highest performance shoe in the Gaerne range; but even better than that, they are possible the best feeling shoe I have ever had on my foot and that says a lot! They do come with a hefty price tag though. A £299.99 price tag puts them on the level of some of the priciest non-custom shoes on the market.
Like all of Giro’s designs the Savant is immediately comfortable, and light too, at just 260g (L). To fit, the helmet uses the company’s newest Roc Loc 5 dial ratchet system. This has a three-point vertical adjustment and a tiny dial that’s easy to adjust while riding, even with gloves on.
