The emphasis is on ‘FUN’ but that doesn’t mean we aren’t competitive and this weekend saw a number of our athletes compete at the Tri Sport Epping Aquathlon event.

RACE REPORT – Bala Triathlon (Middle Distance)

This Race Report is from Jamie, a member of the SW London/Surrey RG Active Race Team. This race is considered ‘Middle distance’ which is slightly different from what we now know as 70.3 or Half Ironman. This distance is great for anyone looking for a UK based race when training for Ironman or Half Ironman and set in a very pretty part of the country.

I am assuming most of you have had some time off, because unless you have been out of the country or hibernating some where you will have been getting increasingly frustrated by the SNOW we have had across the UK.

Bigger is not always Better!!!! ‘My Race Report’

I wanted to tell you all about a race I did yesterday in Essex called ‘The Multi Mile Half Marathon’ and before you ask, ‘yes’ it was exactly that, thirteen times around a 1 mile lap that was all off-road and included two climbs per lap!
